2011 Highlights:
Brett drove for Michael Waltrip Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East division.
- During the first race of the season, Brett put the car on the pole and in the winner’s circle, after leading every lap.
- Finished on the championship podium for the third consecutive year.
- Recorded three wins and one pole, led a series-high 461 laps, and led all drivers with eight top-five finishes in 12 races. Won at his home track, Iowa Speedway, as well as winning the opener at Greenville and the September race at New Hampshire.
Brett had the honor of racing for NASCAR power-house team, Joe Gibbs Racing, in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.
- In ten starts, Brett earned two wins (Martinsville, VA & Dover, DE); six top-5 finishes; and seven top-10 finishes.
- Earned two pole positions (blistering the previous track record at Loudon, NH)
- Was a top-five contender in every race
- Finished second in the year-end championship point standings
Brett made his NASCAR début, competing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for Andy Santerre Motorsports.
- Won the pole (qualifying first) for his first career NASCAR race
- In 12 starts, earned 1 pole, 2 wins, 6 top-5’s, and 10 top-10 finishes
- Finished third in the year-end championship point standings
- Broke three NASCAR records held previously by NASCAR Sprint Cup competitor, Joey Logano. Brett became the youngest NASCAR competitor to earn a pole, the youngest NASCAR competitor to earn a win, and the youngest NASCAR competitor to lead the point standings.
2008 Highlights:
- Earned a combined total of five wins on his way to finishing second in the ASA Late Model North Series championship point standings
- Won the 2008 Rookie of the Year honors
2007 Highlights:
Brett made his transition to dirt racing in dominating fashion.
- Finished in the top five in 80% of his races, winning 26 modified races
- Became the youngest race winner in history at the Knoxville (IA) Raceway winning the 2007 edition of the Harris Clash
2006 Highlights:
Brett competed in the go-kart division.
- Earned four WKA Karting championships and the IKF Karting Championship
- One of only seven drivers in history to win a WKA Triple Crown
- To cap off an impressive season, he was the winner of the prestigious “Golden Driller” at the Tulsa Shoot Out
